I really should tell my mate that then
I insured a Classic Mini Cooper at 17 for £650 tpft.
I then crashed it the day after I turned 18. I now insure a classic mini sprite (mildy modified) for £624 fully comp. My accident raised the price of my premium by £4 when I added it. I do not understand insurance at times.

Not at all! I bought my BGT for £950, and have spent £500 max to get it how it is right now, i.e in good enough fettle to use every day. For the record, I was quoted £529 TPFT for a Triumph Spitfire or MG Midget.

You're one of those people we mortals call a lucky b**tard! Ha ha. I am very interested in these cars, the petrol is going to be a bit more hefty than a Mini though lol. But Footman James seem to be quite good. Are you the main/only driver? And is there a mileage limit?
